| lynettemiles | As I understand your reply, the dead soul can travel to the Underworld and can return if desired. Can it travel both ways at will or does is have to stay on earth if it returns here? You said it depends on nobility while alive. So a soul that lived a noble life can return as a more beautiful thing, like a bird? Is this so? Do the living communicate with the ancestors? If the departed is residing in a tree, can the living communicate with the departed soul? I'm nosy again. Lynette |

| Nērtiks | an it travel both ways at will or does is have to stay on earth if it returns here? No, there are special periods in year when souls from Underworld visit Earth. In these days we can meet them and invite them to feast, what we do celebrating our holidays - Wīlinis and second day of Paskin (Easter - it's christian holiday, but visiting the graves comes from our native faith) So a soul that lived a noble life can return as a more beautiful thing, like a bird? Is this so? Yes, I think so If the departed is residing in a tree, can the living communicate with the departed soul? Yes, but You can't think about it as about word communication. When You go to the forest and listen to the trees or sound of stream, You begin to see answers for Your questions and solutions of Your problems. Remember that it is impossible to talk about most important thinks loudly, or using human words. We have to learn to listen our Earth, our forests, our lakes, they will answer our most important questions. |
