Prussian audio recordings?

Waidawutis Mants :) Kails wisai! I got to thinking the other day how great it would be to further the cause of our spoken Prussian language to have audio recordings so one could hear some conversational Naunaprusiskai so as to hear how the language should be spoken!!! Has anyone done this already?! Perhaps Letas? A small booklet or even sheets of paper with everyday conversational Prussian would be certainly handy and useful for new beginners and with the addition of a audio CD! I don't even think members of Tolkemita have such material, I'm not sure. Young people and youth need such material, and I think if Naunaprusiskai is REALLY going to take off as a everyday spoken tongue by Prusai we really need this!

I much agree. Right now, it's really hard to learn from just seeing a list of words :( Anything like a booklet, writing, mp3 or a cd with translations would be just fantastic!

Thanks

Laītawis laītiks Well, it's something, but it would be nice if there would be some everyday phrases and words written and their stenograph also added to listen, how they sound :)

You have beautifull ornament in Your avatar. What is it? Is it baltic? Does it come from ancient times, or was developed in more modern times?

Kaīls!
It's celtic, but I have seen it on old baltic jewelry(something like a brass brooch in the form of the ornament), so I think that the Balts have used it also. I also think that it's a variation of the Egg of Life or the Circle of Life because it's drawn from one line (except dashes surrounding it)

Nērtiks For me, it's rather solar sign (X in the midle) with snakes - Saūlis friends and protectors.

Liborius Hi
It's Keltic for sure. I have seen similar pattern also in old nordic designs.

P.s. Im looking for a good image of the eagle in the Prussian flag. Can anybody help?

Glabbis What eagle do you mean?
Maybe falcon?

Nērtiks Hi Liborius!

Here's my variation of this sign (here it looks rather like raven than falcon):

Kaīls!

Your avatar looks like a variation of the "shield not": link1, link2.

The shield knot is an ancient and nearly universal symbol. The shield knot has been used for thousands of years by a variety of cultures for protection and warding.
